The spring brings along hope , happiness ,adrenaline and more. Indeed there is no better way to welcome the season of positivity than with the Bohag Bihu festivities. Be it the beat of the dhol, the spark in the youth, the charm of the traditional assamese apparels or the ethnic fragrance of life, the Bohagi Festivities indeed add more value to the year.
Posua is a journey that began in 2012 and it has been 4 years since we started celebrating culture at it's zenith.
Below are a few moments that we wish to share with you.
The pomp and show was at it's peak with renowned singer, "Simanta Shekhar" mesmerizing people live here.
A number of teams participating in the Husori competion also turned up from across the state.
People from all age groups ranging from school kids to the grown adults failed to keep their calm and danced to the steps of Dikshu's songs a year back.
The Assamese culture is a rich and exotic tapestry of all these races evolved through a long assimilative process.
Celebrating that, we present before you Posua'16.
The effort has always been on to build up an archive to reflect and preserve this vast socio-literary heritage of Assam.
Below is a humble attempt by our students and we take pride in presenting before you, our magazine, "Borhomthuri".
A special thanks to all who made it possible.
We would like to thank them whole-heartedly
